I grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, and my family moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, when I was 13-years old.
I attended the University of Florida and graduated in 1985 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I later went to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I graduated with Distinction in 1992.
While in law school, I worked as a clerk for the 55th District Court in Mason, and in the Retirement Division of the Michigan Attorney General’s office.
These valuable work experiences led to the opening of my solo practice in 1993. While working at the 55th District Court, I became interested in the area of criminal law. I later became interested in the area of Family Law with the thought of helping others who may find themselves in stressful situations.I devote the majority of my practice to those two areas of law.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Mary Jo, for almost 10-years, and we have two beautiful children, Josephine and Jonathan. My hobbies include golf, basketball, exercise and spending time with my family.
